Description
Blenko Set of 3 of Bent Spiral Neck Bottle Vases, in three heights, created by Don Shepherd in 1988. This designed makes its debut in the 1988 Blenko catalog and assigned number 8827 l/m/s depending on the height of the vessel. Beautiful purple (plum) color glass with a slight bend of the neck and covered in an applied spiraling glass thread of the same color. Displayed as a trio, these Plum colored vessels are a lovely glass sculpture.
Don Shepherd (1930-2002) worked for Blenko Glass from 1974 through 1988. He was killed in a car accident in 2002.
Measurements: LARGE- 4 5/8 inches diameter x 26 3/4 inches high. MEDIUM – 4 1/4 inches diameter x 22 inches high. SMALL – 3 3/8 inches diameter x 16 1/4 inches high
