Rosenthal porcelain charger of Mid Summer Night’s Dream motif by Bjørn Wiinblad from the 1970s. Lovely and fun interpretation of a scene from Shakespeare’s play of reposing nude on tree branch with Puck seducing her.
Colors – green, red, orange, yellow, brown, purple and gold on white background.
Written with gold ink in front – Sommer Nachts Traum on the left bottom edge and Björn Wiinblad’s signature on right. On back – hanging hook and Rosenthal GERMANY
Measurements: 12 inches diameter x 1 1/4 inches high
Condition: Excellent, probably never used.
