Description
This beautiful Mid Century Reglor Plaster Lamp depicts an Argentinan Gaucho Girl with her bandana around her neck and her bolos (weapon) hanging from her side. Color palette black, cream with gold accents.
The lamp has been rewired and is in Very Good condition with minor wear consistent with its age and use. Lampshade not included, if desired please contact us for shipping and extra cost (shipping for shade probably around $75). The lampshade follows the form of the slant of the figure The lampshade is vintage and complementary but not original, in very good condition.
Bernie & Rena Stein started REGLOR (1947-1975) first with plaster sculptures and transitioned to producing lamps using some of the plaster sculptures. The name REGLOR was created from REna and GLORia (Rena’s cousin Gloria). Even though the Steins were the main designers, a production assitant, Oscar Vega created many of the items. The shades were also made by Reglor to complement its lamps. The factory burned down in 1975.
