Description
Impressionist 20th Century Watercolor by Frank Boyd (b. 1893- d. ??). A street scene depicting a carriage with native passerby in soft, colorful mutations with linen mat. Not much is known about him other that he exhibited in the 9th International Watercolor Exhibition of the Art Institute Of Chicago in 1929 and also in 1929, graced the cover of The American Golfer magazine with his art. Most of his paintings depicts horses and racing.
Signed lower right FRANK BOYD. In verso “Saunders Bell” is handwritten and stamped with the framing gallery’s name, address and May 18 1967.
