Unique and elegant, Organic Modern Copper Enamel Bowl by Donna R. Read.  Ms. Read was probably a Professor of Art at the Texas Technological College in Lubbock, TX. and this is one of her works in copper enameling.   This bowl shows the proficiency and artistic  sensitivity of Ms. Read’s technique.  The bowl has a muddled effect on the outside and a lovely Modern abstract design in dark brown on a copper color background on the inside.

Label on bottom: Donna R. Read – Department of Art – Texas Technological College – Lubbock Texas – plus white sticker with # 134.

Condition: Very Good Condition. Minor wear consistent with age and use.  Rim has some small bubbles and minor roughness from the enameling process (hard to photograph).

Measurements: 7 inches diameter top x 2 inches diameter base x 4 inches high.
