Description
Lovely Swedish blown glass stemmed Vase by AFORS from the 1940s. Decorated by hand with perpendicular stripes in alternating black and yellow on the slender fluted body separated from the inverted saucer base by a clear flower shaped stem. One interesting firing flaw where a spot of black paint dropped on the bowl of the vase (see image). The color combination make this vessel a special one.
Measurements: 9 3/8 inches high x 2 3/4 inches diameter base x 1 3/4 inches diameter opening
