Great rare Mid Century Modern  Teak peppermill / salt shaker combo by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs. These peppermills sometimes are called Chess Pieces for the various shape resembling chess forms.   Ground pepper comes out of the bottom when top turns and salt sprinkles from top when placed upside down.  Refill for  salt is by removing the plug on top and peppercorns are from the bottom by turning plastic cover to open hole for refilling. Made in Denmark with Peugeot Freres, Lion, France metal grinder.  Fabulous modern concept for an elegant table setting.  We use different shaped Dansk Teak S/P from our collection for each guest during dinner parties making it fun and attractive.
