Grouping of 14 SUKIYA pattern (#240) Organic Modern square textured solid glass dishes Made in Japan in the late 70s early 1980s by SGHR SUGAHARA Company. The dishes were handcrafted in a square form with a textured finish on top and a smooth back, none are exactly the same. The dishes are New-Old-Stock never used most in original packing. These fabulous dishes will present your food as art pieces.
The set includes: TRANSPARENT – 8 dinner + 3 platters – BLACK – 2 dinner + 1 platter
Measurements: DINNER – 9.4 inches square x 0.63 inches high ( 2.5 lbs. weight) – PLATTER – 10.5 inches square x 0.63 inches high (4 lbs. weight)
Founded in Tokyo in 1932, SGHR Sugahara has been producing glassware using tradional Japanese designs and techniques. Originally manufacturing for other companies, in 1970 started producing handcrafted glassware for the tabletop and other uses but under their own brand.
