Description
Mid Century Russel Wright (1904-1976) Seafoam Blue American Modern ceramic Tea Pot designed in 1937 and produced of durable earthenware by Steubenville Pottery, later by Bauer of California. Popular collection of modern shapes for dishes and glassware ( by Morgantown, we have listings with some of the goblets) produced from 1939- 1959 which came in numerous colors with exotic names: White, Coral, Seafoam Blue, Chartreuse Curry, Black Chutney, Cedar Green, Granite Gray, Glacier Blue, Bean Brown, Cantaloupe, and the rarest Steubenville Blue. This collection was very popular, even Eleanor Roosevelt and Mamie Eisenhower had a set.
Condition: Very Good. Minor wear consistent with age and use.
Measurements: 6 inches diameter body x 10 inches wide spout – handle x 5 inches high
