Description

Four etchings by L. Meslay (French) of New York City buildings and one of the Capitol in Washington D.C. probably from the early 20th Century. Each with city locale and named building. All five signed L. Meslay on lower right in pencil. All with MADE IN FRANCE stamp in ink on verso.
Condition: All in Fair condition. Discoloration and edge damage but center scene in good condition for framing. Please look at all images.
New York City scenes: Woolworth Building (slight discoloration along edges).__ (5th Avenue) Public Library ( upper left & right edges major discoloration) – landscape orientation,__ (Wall Street) New York Stock Exchange and Sub-Treasury (slight discoloration left edge) – On verso upper left corner some writing in pencil probably directions for printer.__ The Capitol Building (Washington D. C.) – Discoloration on left edge.
Measurements: 16 inches high x 12 inches wide.
