Mid Century Modern vintage Eero Saarinen Secretarial Swivel Desk Chair, model 76 S produced by Knoll from 1953-1968. The minimalist office desk chair was designed in the 50s and popular due the chair’s comfort and function of being able to swivel and its numerous heights for the seat and back. Since it was just an office desk chair, disposable at the time, not many are still available, hence its rarity. Knoll Associates Inc. 320 Park Avenue, N.Y. label underneath seat.

Newly upholstered with Maharan black on black Small Dot Pattern. This fabric, black dots on white background, was originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for a 1947 textile competition at the Museum of Modern Art.

Condition: Minor wear consistent with age and use. Base has been sand blasted and top of legs mirror polished. The rest of the metal, original with minor corrosion spots. Very Good condition. Reupholstered. Please look at all images.
