Space age glass vessel attributed to Per Lutken for Holmegaard, Denmark 1970s. Probably meant to be an tri-deposit ashtray, it has been made in very heavy clear glass with 3 clam shaped openings. Condition: Very Good, no damage. Some firing flaws, bubbles and indents. The shape is not quite a circle, a little ovoid. Purchased in Denmark.
Per Lutken (1916-1998) probably the most prolific of Denmark’s glass designers, worked for Holmegaard Glassworks from 1942 until his death 1998. Lutken’s creations consisted of more than 3,000 pieces.
Measurements: 6 3/4 inches diameter x 2 inches high.
