Description
Resembling vertebrae, the arm of this classic Elio Martinelli (1922-2005) lamp, the 660 or Flex Calotta from 1972, is quite versatile and adjusts easily for the user. Great scale with its half moon difusser and size matching pancake thin base with rippled design. An early edition from Martinelli Luce, the electrical wiring does not show in the arm. Later versions showed an internalized black wire to one side of the arm. Retains paper label on arm base and fully marked on the bottom. 100 watt max, normal medium base, edison bulb. On/Off switch on the cord. Great Italian design, great Martinelli DNA, sibling to the Serpente & Cobra designs! Perfect desk lamp, reading lamp, bedside lamp!
Measurements: Shade 12.5″ diameter Base 10″ diameter Height with shade horizontally level 23″ high.
