Designed by David Gil ( 1922-2002) for his company Bennington Potters of Vermont, a Set of 8 Matte Black Cups #1760 and Saucers#1— and Matte White Sugar #1769 and Creamer #1768 .  These are handmade stoneware pieces from the 1960s, each will be an individual creation thus some firing flaws and skips might be inherent to the item.   Two of the cups have small chips, the creamer and sugar have some rough areas around rim .  Some pieces have glaze skips and flaws. Designed by David Gil ( 1922-2002) for his company Bennington Potters of Vermont, a Set of 8 Matte Black Cups #1760 and Saucers#1— and Matte White Sugar #1769 and Creamer #1768 .  These are handmade stoneware pieces from the 1960s, each will be an individual creation thus some firing flaws and skips might be inherent to the item.   Two of the cups have small chips, the creamer and sugar have some rough areas around rim .  Some pieces have glaze skips and flaws.
