Elegant Organic Modern pair of small footed metal dishs, probably sold as individual ashtrays, made by E. Cabello in Mexico during the 1960s. Cabello created the dishes with a stylized fish form sitting on three brass circular feet and using the Metales Casados (married metals) technique. Produced with a silver finish, brass and copper metals with a geometric pattern created by the intersecting metals. Reminiscent of the creations of Los Castillos that used the Metales Casados technique. Measurements: 4 1/2 inches wide x 3 inches deep x 1 inch high tallest point – 5/8 inch high bowl Condition: Very Good.…

Elegant Organic Modern pair of small footed metal dishs, probably sold as individual ashtrays, made by E. Cabello in Mexico during the 1960s. Cabello created the dishes with a stylized fish form sitting on three brass circular feet and using the Metales Casados (married metals) technique. Produced with a silver finish, brass and copper metals with a geometric pattern created by the intersecting metals. Reminiscent of the creations of Los Castillos that used the Metales Casados technique. Measurements: 4 1/2 inches wide x 3 inches deep x 1 inch high tallest point – 5/8 inch high bowl Condition: Very Good. These have been high gloss polished so reflections are inevitable. Some tiny flea bites on edge and one tiny spot on one. Please look at all photos.
