Description

Lovely Organic Swedish Modern ceramic bowl by Carl Harry Stålhane for Designhuset. With an abstract design in shades of brown with a textured center over a creamy glaze and the outside with a partial glazing of a gun metal charcoal over a red-brown brick glaze. Named Jorden or Earth it is fully signed Carl Harry Stalhane, Designhuset logo, “JORDEN” and 22-200 on the bottom. Comes with certificate.

In 1973 Carl Harry Stålhane left Rörstrand and set up Designhuset in Lidköping . Stalhane used the new enterprise as a testing ground for various types of clays and glazes.
Commercial ceramic production shut down in 1988 and the premises became a ceramics academy.
