Description

Late Baroque or early Rococo Pair of sinuous form candlesticks. Italian born, they were probably alter pieces and have a subtle decoration on the candleholder top and curlicue legs at the bottom. The tubular centers have intermittent urn and vase forms rising to a flared bobeche. We also have a matching pair of taller candlesticks (see last photo). Measurements: 4 inches diameter  at base  x  15  3/4 inches high
