Description

Per Lutken for Holmegaard, Denmark, Two Tall Mouth Blown Blue Glass Vases both from 1960.  The design of these vases with curved necks was an extension of Per Lutken’s highly successful Beak vases of the 1950s.  Holmegaard, established in 1823, is still today the premier glass manufacturer of Denmark.

Both engraved on bottom –  Holmegaard 1960 with Per Lutken’s monogram and acid edged K (astrup) H(olmegaard).

The taller of the vases has some flakes on the base and a scraped area on side, both photographed.

Measurements:  10  3/4  and 10  5/8 inches high  x  4 inches diameter
