Mid Century Russel Wright (1904-1976) Coral American Modern carafe / jug / pitcher designed in 1937 and originally produced of sturdy earthenware by Steubenville Pottery (later made by Bauer Pottery of California). Popular collection of modern shapes for dishes and glassware produced (by Morgantown) from 1939- 1959 which came in numerous colors with exotic names: White, Coral, Seafoam Blue, Chartreuse Curry, Black Chutney, Cedar Green, Granite Gray, Glacier Blue, Bean Brown, Cantaloupe, and the rarest Steubenville Blue. These dishes were popular in all socioeconomic levels, even Eleanor Roosevelt and Mamie Eisenhower had a set.

Condition: Very Good. 4 minute glaze pinpricks from firing, please look all images.

Measurements: 6 inches diameter of body  x 7 inches wide spout to end handle x 6 1/2  inches high
