Bay Keramikfabric was established by Eduard Bay in Ransbach-Baumbach in 1933. Its production was of Terracota items but in 1936 the manufacture of decorative items with crystalline glaze commenced. By 1955, a production of elaborate modern forms and designs was started until its peak 1958-1959. By 1962 until its closing in 1983, the production had turned into more tradional shapes but still Modern in its decoration.
