Various years issues vintage Bo Bedre Design and Home Danish magazines. Partial inaugural 1961 year of Bo Bedre (Live Better) Danish magazine of Modern Home Style and Design. First published in March 1961 missing (also November/December) 7 magazines of the first year (July & August in one issue). Other issues are February and September 1963, January 1965 and August and November 1969. The magazines are in the Danish language but pictures are very descriptive and informational. There are articles on gardening, cooking, do-it-yourself projects, furniture, home style, crafts, home layouts and even houses for sale with prices and owners. What is wonderful about these magazines is the amount of advertising of furnishings that were new at the time but now are Mid Century Danish Modern. The majority of ads identify the designers and maker of the furniture, lighting and other household items, a trove of information about the not well known designers and makers. Some of the companies that often advertised – DUX Designs, Bramin Møbler, Wegner Møbler, EGE Rya, Hornsæs-Horsens, Domus Danica, France & Son, Fog & Morup, Lyfa, George Jensen and many more. The price is for 12 issues.

Condition: In vintage condition. Yellowing of pages and some spines with damage but magazines complete. June ’61 issue cover is loose.
