SOLD SOLD Exceptional set of 8 Thonet Armed Dining Chairs with a jazz age art deco design cut mohair velvet upholstery and black lacquered wood. These 1940s Machine Age chairs designed by the legendary Joe Atkinson for Thonet,  have a distinct modern look with their bentwood shape and styling. The upholstery in a cut art deco pattern mohair velvet is extremely well done. There is some random wear to the lacquering and several slight crushes to the mohair. (See pics)

Measurements: 32 1/2 inch high back x 23 inches wide x 21 inches deep. Seat height 17 1/2 inches.
