Description
A number of colored rectangles on perdendicular incised white lines over a black glossy glaze background defines this Midcentury Modern vase from Üebelacker-Keramik also known as Ü-Keramik of Germany. The form (455), from 1960, most likely created by Heinz Hommerich, art director during the 1950s-1960s. The design is almost identical to the Confetti Series by Steuler from 1950. The inside if the vase with a glossy ocre glaze. Bottom on relief –W, GERMANY – 455/60
