Description
The Fulper Potteries factory was founded in 1809 by the Fulper Brothers in Flemington New Jersey. The Fulper Pottery would produce utilitarian ware until 1909, when a line of art pottery was introduced. The pottery was known for its lovely glazes on Arts and Crafts form vessels. Here we have a pair of pottery candleholders hand-painted with vivid colored fruit on a base of Autumn picked leaves. The vertical oval ink stamp mark was used 1922 – 1928.
