Set of antique 1924/1925 and 1926 National Geographic Magazines. 6 Well bound leather-spine & corners and dark cloth books, 2 volumes per year, January-June and July-December. A time capsule of the period with maps, information and photographs of what the world’s varied cultures, what they believed, looked and how they lived. Also included are articles on scientific discoveries and some of general interest. A snap shot of our world prior to WWII.
These Volumes are not the actual magazines but a compilation of the year’s issues. The indexes provide, in alphabetical order, all the articles of the magazines included in each volume.
Each Volume has lots of black/white photos, color plates and three volumes have a map insert – North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Eastern Tennesse – The Artic – Eastern Part of the West Indies & The Alutian Islands, all with no damage.
The Volumes’ spine and corners are leather and dark cloth the front and back covers. Each with over 600 pages.
Condition: Very Good. Minor wear of covers due to age and use. No issues. Please look at all images.
