Description
In the 1940s, Lars Thoren (1918-2006) created a collection of white stoneware pieces for Rorstrand named “Vilda Blommor” or “Wildflowers”. The pieces have a hand-painted decor of colorful flowers that grew in the meadows of Sweden like heather, bluebells, a type of Daisy/Dandellion known as crepis and also some wild berries (lingonberries). The production proved to be very popular because of its smooth satin glaze and its pleasing decoration. This oval shaped bowl is in Good condition, no damaged but a number of glaze pops on the body and some on the upper rim that creates a rough surface, see images.
