Description
1960s beautifully glazed earthenware Soholm Vase from Denmark with a sgrafitto incised body rising to a tapering necked mouth. Overall brown glaze with a bluish tinge and lighter in the incised areas. Søjolm Keramik was a ceramics manufacturer in Rønne on the island of Bornholm, Denmark. It existed from 1835 to 1996.
Incised on bottom in script – SOHOLM DANMARK STENT’S (stentoj) and #3307
Measurements: 3 1/2 inches diameter bottom – 2 inches diameter opening – 7 3/4 inches high.
